In 2019, there were 6015 fires in commercial places, with a year-on-year decrease of 8.4%; 5872 fires occurred in hotels and restaurants, with a year-on-year decrease of 9.9%; 722 fires occurred in schools, with a year-on-year decrease of 10%; 346 fires occurred in hospital nursing homes, a year-on-year decrease of 12.6%; 384 fires occurred in public entertainment places, a year-on-year decrease of 21.5%. There were 6974 fires in high-rise buildings, up 10.6% year-on-year; 2926 fires occurred in construction sites, up 5.8% year-on-year.

3、 The proportion of people killed by fire in urban and rural residents is large

In 2019, urban and rural residential fires accounted for 44.8% of the total, resulting in 1045 deaths, accounting for 78.3% of the total, far more than the total number of people killed in other places. In residential fires, electrical causes remain high. 52% of the fires that have been identified are caused by electrical causes, especially those caused by various household appliances, electric vehicles and electrical lines. There are 7 large fires caused by electric bicycles. The proportion of the elderly people who died in fire has increased from 29% in 2009 to 36.2% in 2019. The proportion in residential fire reaches 42.9%, and the proportion of paralyzed, disabled and mental patients reaches 44.3% (Statistics with age respectively).

4、 Fire is relatively frequent in winter and spring, and the dead in night fire are concentrated, which needs to be strengthened.

From the development trend of fire throughout the year, there are more than 500 fires per day in winter and spring, and several prominent fire peaks are also concentrated in winter and spring. From the 24-hour distribution of the fire, the fire from 22:00 to 6:00 was often found late and the alarm was late, and the personnel could not escape and save themselves. Except for the proportion of fires slightly lower than that in the western region, the proportion of other areas is the highest. Among them, the number of deployment increased by 8.8% compared with that in 2018, which was the largest number of tasks of fire brigade since the statistical data were available; the number of per capita dispatch increased by 29% year-on-year to 138 times, which was the largest in recent five years (the average number of deployment in the first four years was 98, 100, 105 and 107 respectively). According to the classification of police situation, there were 366000 emergency rescue and 366000 social assistance, accounting for 57.4% of the total, and they were concentrated in July, August and September when petrochemical, inflammable and explosive, flood, heavy rainfall, typhoon, debris flow, landslide, hornet's nest and other accidents occurred frequently. The rescue and rescue operations in these three months alone accounted for 35.3% of the whole year.
