From the above fire occurrence period, the night is more frequent, about 3.6 times of the daytime; from the area of occurrence, the urban-rural fringe, township fire is high; from the affected population, most of them are vulnerable groups such as the elderly, children or people with mobility difficulties; from the cause of casualties, most of them died of suffocation due to smoke.

Affected by the epidemic prevention and control, urban and rural residents all over the country spend more time at home, and use large amounts of fire, electricity and gas, thus increasing the risk of family fire. In view of the frequent occurrence of "small fire death" accidents in residential buildings recently, the Fire Rescue Bureau of emergency management department issued 10 fire safety tips to remind the public to pay attention to fire safety and eliminate fire hazards nearby.

1. Clean up the combustible sundries in the living room, kitchen, balcony and corridor in time. Do not park electric bicycle and waste furniture in the stairwell.

2. Pay attention to prevent the fire caused by the failure of household appliances, and pay attention to the fire safety of electric bicycle charging.

3. Pay attention to the safety of gas use, regularly check whether the gas pipeline is aging, do not change the gas pipeline without permission, and keep the kitchen fire.

4. When heating with electricity, furnace fire and soil Kang, keep a safe distance from the surrounding combustible materials, and do not cover the electric heating equipment with dry clothes.

5. It is easy to cause fire by discarding cigarette ends at will, and smoking in bed is prohibited.

6. Do a good job in children's safety education, guide and educate children not to play with fire.

7. Residents should be familiar with the escape routes such as evacuation passageway and emergency exit, so as to ensure fast and safe escape in case of fire. In case of fire, do not covet property and escape quickly.

8. The property management units and neighborhood (Village) committees of residential quarters should strengthen fire prevention inspection and timely organize the cleaning up of combustible debris piled up in public areas.

9. Care for widows, widows, orphans, old, young, sick and disabled, strengthen publicity tips and nursing measures, and help to check and eliminate the potential safety hazards of fire, electricity and gas.
